| Moving forward When we (Alice Ferguson and Lesley Reilly) started Key Associates NI back in 2000 it was so that we could share our passion for learning and personal development with others. Little did we know then that we were embarking on an adventure that would take us to Europe, to prison, to DJ Workshops, to the four corners of Ireland (and tiny little villages) and to participation in a range of conferences at venues throughout the country.
11 years later and we still hold a passion for learning and personal development. So what has changed - well we are older, have learnt much over the years and bring that experience to our training. During recent years as an accredited for the Institute of Leadership and Development we have had the privilege of seeing almost 300 candidates successfully completing a range of accredited courses. Since the commencement of 2011 we are working in conjunction with Training for Women Network to ensure courses are accredited and quality assessed.
Alice has continued her love affair with the music industry and as Managing Director of Excentric Muzik is creating opportunities for established and up and coming DJ's to develop their skills throughout the world (a passion for personal development and learning takes many forms - not only educational!) Lesley is involved with Training for Women Network, serving as Chairperson and providing training support as required.
Looking back is great but what of the future - since the very beginning the focus of Key Associates NI has been on helping men and women of all ages and educational backgrounds explore the possibilities of their lives that focus remains strong. In our travels we have had it emphasised to us over and over again that with the right opportunities and encouragement people everywhere have the potential to be more than what they are
We are certainly not the biggest training organisation in Northern Ireland, we are also not the most expensive organisation (we hold a strong 'value for money' ethic), however the feedback we have received over the years from the hundreds who have participated on our courses gives us encouragement to believe that we are up there with the best.
